When the Orthopedic Specialty Group (OSG) of Fairfield, CT, embarked on a significant expansion of its health and surgical center, Inner Space Systems provided OSG with dynamic solutions that directly addressed safety standards, time and budgetary constraints, and the unique needs of a highly specialized medical facility.
Working in collaboration with Bishop Construction, Inner Space Systems outfitted the new facilities with the kind of high-quality, state-of-the-art modular casework that has become synonymous with our name in the medical community.
Our mastery of the modular casework model and its numerous advantages compared to standard millwork allowed us to complete the project within OSG’s 6-week window and in line with the proposed budget.

Inner Space, in conjunction with Datum Storage Solutions, has embarked on a 6.5 million high density shelving storage project for DORIS (NYC Department of Records & Information Systems). The renovation of large warehouse spaces at Industry City, a development in Brooklyn, was delayed due to the pandemic. We finally began our work on July 13th, 2020. It is an enormous, challenging project encompassing all or parts of 3 floors of this warehouse building. The space efficient mobile storage systems will house all the New York City’s Central Archive records in one location, with plenty of room for future growth.
It takes a large amount of experience and knowledge of this product and industry to successfully manage and perform a project of this magnitude. New York City, Industry City, and Nucor construction has placed their confidence in us and Datum to bring this project to a successful completion.
One of our best customers over the years, the hospital decided to build 2 new Catheter operating rooms. As with previous OR’s, Inner Space provide all of the stainless steel cabinets in these 2 rooms, as well as a wire mobile shelving storage system in their central sterile storage room.
Turner Construction, one of the largest general contractors in the northeast, place their trust in us to provide this product, while coordinating the installation with their tight project schedule. Our diligence was proven very helpful, as our field measurements determined that adjustments had to be made by Turner to enable the cabinets to fit correctly in the rooms. Another reason why we are great to have on the job. We work with all parties to get the job right.
