It typically comes in various widths up to 4’ and up to 3’ deep. This shelving is designed for light to medium weight capacities in a materials environment. Shelves house up to 500 lbs. per shelf, with lower capacity shelves available based on necessity. We will perform an analysis to determine the correct sizes and weight capacities needed for each situation. 

When heavier loads are necessary, wide span shelving may be required for the job. This type of shelving comes in wider units (up to 8’) and up to 4’ deep. Wide span shelving can provide weight loads up to 1,500 lbs. per shelf. Metal or wood decking is typical for wide span shelving.

Pallet Rack is extremely heavy duty rack made specifically to hold pallets that could weigh up to 5,000 lbs. Pallet rack consists of heavy duty frames and beams that are connected to the frames. Pallets can straddle the frames, or wood or wire deck can be placed on the beams. The entire pallet rack bay can house 60,000 lbs. or more. Weight capacities for pallet rack can vary based on beam and frame sizes. Our analysis will determine what size and weight capacities for the pallet rack is needed for each situation.
